Stirring System Design for Automatic Coffee Maker Using OMRON PLC and PID Control

The implementation of the use PLC in this study was designed for a small scale process stirring coffee drinks at speed 600 RPM. To get stable so that water does not overflow, control system is needed. optimal results, design can arranged automatically using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). This rotary encoder sensor C38S6G5-600B-G24N as reader obtained from movement motor, DC Motor JGA25-370 12V an actuator or stirrer. OMRON CP1E-NA20DR-A used motor device Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) algorithm to according setpoint entered. with PID shows response works well researchers' expectations. fast enough achieve overshoot value. Thus successfully and produce by giving set point RPM parameter constant band 720%; time 1.6s; 0.2s rise value 1.3s; settling 11s; 1.1%; steady-state error 0.5%.
